We are well into May (can you believe that??) and the return of nice weather deserves some recognition of my spring favorites!
On Repeat:
Joe Jonas
I am really excited for Joe Jonas’ new album. I have his released singles Heart by Heart and Work it Out on repeat constantly! Driving, dancing around my room, getting ready. I love the sound, and am excited to hear what else is on his new album Music For People Who Believe in Love, releasing May 23!
Love Me To Heaven
Can’t talk about Joe Jonas without having all the Jonas Brothers involved. Their new single Love Me to Heaven is another one playing nonstop. It’s a great summer dance song.
Running
On a different musical note, Running by Rose Betts has been constantly on my mind the past week. A surprisingly fruitful recommendation by the Spotify DJ.
A Full House
My brother moved back home after graduating a few weeks ago and I (and Fulton) are thrilled. It’s nice seeing him chilling on the couch when I get home from work and planning outings. We’ve already gone to a Pickleball intro class and planned some pickleballing with friends. Fulton is his little shadow and cries when he goes upstairs without him (TRAITOR!). It is shaping up to be a fun summer.
*behold a photo of Fulton acting like us taking him on Vacation up to see Cole is the worst thing we’ve ever done to him… alternatively behold a photo of Fulton seeing his first pup patty from InnOut*

Library Hold System
I’ve gotten back into reading and it’s helped that the library has had the books I want to read. Not wanting to pay for a book I may not like has been such a deterrent lately to my reading, and the library has fixed that. It’s been nice to just request a book and they call me when it’s ready. Now that there is a library less than 5 minutes from me, that helps too.
Stay tuned for my next review post coming soon and please send some recommendations my way!
Pickleball
My brother is in his pickleball phase and by association I am too. We went to an intro to pickleball lesson at the new indoor courts near us and now we feel like pros. At least in our heads. Haha. We shall see how much pickleball we play this summer. I will keep you updated.
Tracking my Style with Indyx
I’ve talked about the app, Indyx, here before and my enjoyment of it is still going strong. A couple times a year I get bored and want to revamp my style and tracking what I wear daily has been super helpful at seeing what I am ignoring in my wardrobe currently. I am currently in that itching to revamp my style phase, so keep an eye out for a fun post coming soon!
What are some of your recent favorites? Summer is coming, are you ready?
